In a study at the Department of Horticulture of FCAV/UNESP, Jaboticabal, Brazil, cuttings were treated with an aqueous solution of 2000 mg IBA/litre, placed in a wooden box containing vermiculite and put in a lathhouse equipped with an intermittent misting system. Evaluation was done after 70 days. From the results it was concluded that the Japanese apricot clones 02, 05, 10 and 15 can be propagated by herbaceous cuttings in an atmosphere with a misting system, and that IBA has beneficial effects on rooting of the cuttings.
