A comparison of two contrast agents, Omnipaque and Hexabrix, for positive-contrast arthrography of the scapulo-humeral and knee joints in dogs

Two contrast materials (Omnipaque 240 and Hexabrix 320) for the detailed X ray diagnosis of the diseases of the scapulo-humeral and knee joints in dogs were used. The durations of the activity of the two contrast media were tested and their quality were compared. Five mixed breed dogs were selected for the study. The function of both joints and the application of contrast media were provided.
