A genetic and molecular analysis of flowering time in Arabidopsis thaliana using natural variation: 144 pp.



This thesis describes the genetic and molecular characterization of flowering time in A. thaliana. In Chapter 1, a description is given of recent progress in locating and isolating A. thaliana genes including those that account for naturally occurring variation among accessions. In addition, an overview is given of the present knowledge on the genetic, environmental and molecular control of flowering in A. thaliana. Chapter 2 describes the genetic analysis of flowering time.
