A study of surface temperature in Yardang margin of Lut Desert based upon field measurements and landsat satellite thermal data

, : A study of surface temperature in Yardang margin of Lut Desert based upon field measurements and landsat satellite thermal data. BIABAN 7(2): 67-79

Lut Desert, as one of the most important and rare features in Iran, has attracted much attention from the view point of its high surface temperature. Due to harsh climatic conditions in the Lut Desert, not much information about air and surface temperature in Yardang is available. To study the surface temperature in the Lut Desert, a good understanding of desert conditions can be useful.
