Assessment of energy value and essential nutrients intake of the total daily food rations in a selected young population group

A study was conducted to assess food intake in a selected young population group using the 24-h dietary recall method Results revealed that the average daily women's diet rations failed to provide sufficient energy and were deficit of all nutritional components, whereas those of men were better balanced with nutritional standards.
