Abstract
Five cultivars and 27 lines of barley, and 3 cultivars and 129 lines (112 double haploids) of autumn barley, constituting 8 comparative cultures were monitored under conditions of natural infection of Puccinia hordei Otth. The Andra autumn barley cultivar descendent lines were not attacked. Laura cultivar lines, as well as the Grivita cultivar lines oscillate between tolerant and sensitive; the Dana barley cultivar proved to be sensitive; the Cernomoret x Hiproly x Risso 1508 x Miraj or the Cernomoret x Hiproly lines proved to be resistant, and the MC 20 x F. 163-83, Victoria x Acza x Forrest, Victoria x Hiproly x Risso 1508 x Miraj doubled haploid lines, and the Victoria x Hiproly x Risso 1508 lines oscillated between tolerance and susceptibility.
