Carryover effects of imazaquin and imazethapyr on corn planted after soyabean

The effects of imazaquin and imazethapyr on maize (safrinha), sown right after soyabean BR-4, were studied in Londrina, Parana, Brazil during the growing season of 1995-96. Imazaquin was applied to soyabean at 120 and 240 g a.i./ha and imazethapyr was applied at 80 and 160 g a.i./ha at preemergence. Maize was sown every 30 days from herbicide application until soyabean harvest (150 days after application, DAA).
