Characteristics of export consortia in the Spanish agri-food industry

Within the context of increasing globalization and demand concentration that characterized distribution in the agri-food industry, strategic alliances are seen as a suitable option for the internationalization of those companies which lack the necessary resources to develop this process on their own. In this work, the main features of a particular cooperation agreement, i. e. export consortia, are specified with data regarding the Spanish agri-food industry.
