The genetic variability in a Jersey cattle herd (60 calves and 60 dams) was characterized on 6 polymorphic protein loci: haemoglobin (HBB), transferrin (TF), ceruloplasmin (CP), amylase (AMY1), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and carboanhydrase (CA). Some characteristics were studied for an additional description of the degree and structure of inner group variability.
