Characterization of Sul da Africa and Thomas mandarin fruits

Mandarin Thomas, grown in Cordeiropolis, Sao Paulo, Brazil is a late-season cultivar with fruit maturity beginning in August and contains more than 0.9% juice acidity. Sul da Africa is another late-season cultivar, which produces fruits that are harvested at the beginning of July and may remain attached to the tree canopy for a longer period of time.
