The clinical efficacy of ketoprofen in the treatment of postoperative pain was evaluated 57 dogs, which had undergone surgery under general anaesthesia. 21 dogs (KET2 group) received ketoprofen at 2 mg/kg i.v.; 36 dogs (KET025 group) received ketoprofen at 0.25 mg/kg i.v. 13 dogs (61%) from KET2 group and 24 dogs (66%) from KET025 group showed clinical signs of pain before injecting the drug.
