The effect of some variables on the removal efficiency of chromophore substances from traditionally clarified sugarcane juice using sugarcane bagasse complexed with diethylaminoethyl chloride, DEAE, was studied. An experimental model (Box-Behnken type) with 3 independent variables was applied.
