Comfortable macroclimatic conditions for optimum milk production in Sahiwal cows

Journal of Applied Zoological Researches 13(2/3): 228-230

ISSN/ISBN: 0970-9304

Data collected on environmental temperature, humidity and milk production of Sahiwal cows maintained at Military Farm, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India between April 1996 and March 1999 and correlated with milk production showed that the maximum and minimum temperature and relative humidity significantly affected the herd composition and milk production.
