Comparative evaluation of maize bran, wheat bran and rice bran on milk production of Holstein Friesian cattle

The effect of feeding concentrate based on different brans (maize, wheat and rice) on the milk yield of Holstein Friesian cows was studied. Twelve cows of second and third lactation were randomly distributed into 3 equal groups (A, B and C). The diets of groups A, B and C contained 30% maize bran, 30% deoiled rice bran and 30% wheat bran. All animals received maize fodder, ad libitum. The feeding trial lasted for 60 days.
