The effects of and resistance to anticoagulant rodenticide were studied in rodents through optional and nonoptional food intake. For 10 years, resistance of 3 commensal rodent species was not different. However, average lethal dose rate of rodenticides decreased, and the average duration of lethality increased. The mortality rate of Rattus norvegicus to 4 anticoagulant rodenticides was 91%.
