Four chemical forms of nickel (NiSO4 7H2O, Ni(II)-Glu, Ni(II)-citrate, Ni(II)-EDTA) were compared with respect to their toxicity, bio-availability and resistance strategies in cabbage plants (Brassica oleracea var. capitata Slawa from Enkhouizen) grown in a loamy sand soil irrigated with one quarter-strength Hoagland solution.
