An experiment was conducted in Sao Paulo, Brazil during September to December 1997-98 on bean Carioquinha to determine the effects of effective microorganisms (EM), Diatomea (a ground petrified algae), Biosol, Cofermol (Co + Fe + Mo), and MB-4 on yield. The treatments were Diatomea; EM seed application; Biosol soil application; Cofermol seed application; EM + diatomite; EM + MB-4; MB-4 soil application; and the control.
