Comparison of the immune protective effect of two adjuvants CT-B and saponin against Trichinella spiralis in vaccinated mice

A study was conducted to compare the protective immunity against Trichinella spiralis challenge infection in mice immunized with cholera toxin B subunit (CT-B) or saponin as adjuvant. T. spiralis muscle larval soluble antigen was prepared and mixed with CT-B or saponin. NIH mice were immunized orally or subcutaneously with the mixture 3 times at one week interval.
