Journal of Agricultural Research of China 50(3): 40-58

A part or total of 15 Dioscorea genotypes were cultivated, analysed, and evaluated at 6 counties in Taiwan in 1998. The results obtained from comparison tests on the plant growth characteristics and yield potential of these Dioscorea plants indicated that 70W47, TNG1, TNG2, 70W34, 70W35, and 80W02 were the most promising lines due to their high yield potential of more than 40 t/ha.
