The contact toxicity of aqueous neem seed kernel extract (NSKE) and neem seed oil emulsion to egg, larval, pupal and adult stages of C. sexmaculata was investigated under laboratory conditions. Neem oil emulsion at 2 and 4% and NSKE at 2 and 4% significantly affected the egg hatching (80.0, 75.0, 82.5 and 82.5%, respectively) compared to the control (95.0%). Aqueous NSKE at 4% was relatively more toxic (22.0% mortality) to the third-instar larvae.
