Content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium in Trisetum flavescens and mixed sward

Content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium in Trisetum flavescens and mixed sward

akarstwo w Polsce Grassland Science in Poland 4: 119-124

Mineral composition of Trisetum flavescens was studied in 1990 in samples collected from 11 meadows in the Wieprz river valley, Poland. Concentrations of macroelements (N, P, K, Ca, and Mg) from T. flavescens and from the community, as well as the chemical properties of soils were recorded. Significant differences in N, Ca, and Mg contents were found between T. flavescens hay and the overall plant community.
