Control and forecasting of the fructification of European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) for the stand Zierenberg 38A and the level I stands in Hessen by climate factors

Allgemeine Forst und Jagdzeitung 174(4): 67-79

ISSN/ISBN: 0002-5852

Correlations are described between fructification data (1989-2001) and climatic data (1951-2001) from the weather station Kassel, Germany. Climatic data included global radiation (R), sunshine duration (SSD), temperature (T), precipitation (N) and relative air humidity (rF). Fructification data were collected from 144 trees (157-year-old in 2001) in Zierenberg and 1097 trees (at least 60-year-old) trees in Hessen.
