Intensive and unseasonable nitrogen fertilizer application leads to high nitrate concentrations in groundwater. Recently, groundwater sampling was being performed through pumping from existing standard wells. This traditional technique offers vertically mixed samples. Level-determined samples of groundwater are increasingly important for hydrological studies and nitrate pollution problem.
