Dairy products contain a package of nutrients important to good bone health as well as protecting against a variety of diseases including osteoporosis, Insulin Resistance Syndrome, obesity, hypertension, diabetes and colon cancer. Dairy products are a concentrated source of bioavailable calcium. Diets low in calcium tend to be also low in magnesium and several vitamins.
