Damage of immune serum, macrophage and complement on muscle larvae of Trichinella spiralis in vitro

Acta Parasitologica et Medica Entomologica Sinica 10(1): 7-10

ISSN/ISBN: 1005-0507

The damage effects of immune serum, macrophage and complement on muscle larvae of Trichinella spiralis were investigated in vitro. Results revealed no damage effect on muscle larvae when immune serum was used alone. However, when used with macrophage or with macrophage and complement, damage effects were observed.
