The paper deals with the single objective of application of the advanced breakeven methodology on rice, groundnut and green gram within and between crop enterprises. The study was undertaken in the tankfed environment of Chengalpattu district of Tamil Nadu state, India, on three major crops grown in Madurantakam tank irrigation area and primary data were randomly collected from a sample of 120 farms from the tank ayacut for the period 1999-2000.
