Dendroclimatic response of ring-width chronologies of teak from eight sites in Central India

The dendroclimatic response of teak (Tectona grandis L. f.) growing in India was preliminarily investigated using a ring-width chronology from one site in central India. The result of this previous study suggested that the radial growth of the teak trees was influenced by the moisture condition during the post-monsoon season, which is the beginning of the dry season.
