Design and experimental study on a new rice seed-coating and direct sowing machine

A new kind of rice seed coating and direct sowing machine was designed to solve the problems in rice seed-coating and bud-leaf acceleration. The structure and working principle of the feeder were described. This machine can coat the wet rice seed with superfine particles. Results from installation and field experiments indicated both the correct rate of coating and sowing achieved by the machine are over 85%. The inconstant coefficient rate is less than 25% and the broken rate is less than 2%.
