The objective of the present investigation was to determine the location of P. capsici in pepper (Capsicum annuum) seed. P. capsici was isolated from seeds of infected pepper fruits collected under field conditions. A group of those seeds were plated on culture media tomato-agar and another one was prepared for analysis by observation under the scanning electron microscope. Through the scanning electron microscope, the fungus was observed to infect the seed coat, endosperm and embryo.
