An important part of irrigation practice is the calculatation of the evapotranspiration for irrigated crops. Evapotranspiration depends on plant variety, developmental stage, agricultural techniques and climatic conditions. Several methods are available for the determination of evapotranspiration, but the best results were achieved when pan evapotranspiration was used. The evaporation from pan GGI-20 m2 was used as a standard for evaporation from free water surface.
