Determination of some clinical, haemotological and biochemical parameters for cattle fed dried oak leaf

Determination of some clinical, haemotological and biochemical parameters for cattle fed dried oak leaf

Veteriner Bilimleri Dergisi 19(1/2): 27-32

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of dry oak leaves on some clinical, haematological and biochemical parameters in cattle. Thirty 3- to 6-year-old crossbred cows in the experimental group were offered dry oak leaves (Quercus infectoria and Q. brantii); control cows (n=10) were offered none. Dry oak leaves were offered at 2 kg, daily, for each cow mixing with straw. Systematic clinical examinations and laboratory analysis were made for all cattle.
