Determination of water-soluble vitamins in pharmaceutical preparations by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with a mobile phase containing sodium dodecylsulphate and n-propanol

A reverse phase liquid chromatography method with sodium dodecylsulfate-n-propanol-water as mobile phase has been used to separate and determine 6 water-soluble vitamins (i.e., thiamin, riboflavin, nicotinamide, nicotinic acid, pyridoxine and folic acid) in 12 min. The analytical characteristics (linear range, sensitivity, detection limits and precision) were evaluated.
