Development of a method for the micropropagation of selected genotypes of Cedrela odorata L. I. Optimization of the multiplication phase

The objective of this research was to contribute to the development of a methodology for the micropropagation of selected genotypes of cedar (Cedrela odorata). Cedar seeds were sown in vitro and the seedlings were used as source of explants. Nodal cotiledonar explants were established on half strength MS medium supplemented with 2-iP (2,2 micro M) for axillary shoot initiation.
