Diazotrophic inoculation on nitrogen transformation in rhizosphere soil of rice

Diazotrophic inoculation on nitrogen transformation in rhizosphere soil of rice

Journal of Interacademicia 6(2): 166-173

The study was conducted to investigate the efficacy of heterotrophic non-symbiotic nitrogen fixing bacteria (viz., Azotobacter and Azospirillum) in changing the content of different forms of inorganic and organic nitrogen in the rhizosphere soils of rice (cv. IET 4094). Rhizosphere soil samples were collected from Mohanpur, West Bengal, India at maximum tillering (45 days after transplanting, DAT), flowering (85 DAT) and maturity (110 DAT) stages of the crop growth.
