Diazotrophic rhizocenosis in subtropical perennial forage grasses in Tucuman

Diazotrophic rhizocenosis in subtropical perennial forage grasses in Tucuman

Revista Industrial y Agricola de Tucuman 77(1): 23-25

ISSN/ISBN: 0370-5404

A study was conducted to isolate and characterize stable fixing nitrogen microorganisms from a set of given subtropical forage grasses under cutting evaluation. During summer of 1998-99, a set of grasses, individual plants and soil-root mass with 30 cm depth were extracted using a shovel. Soil-root mass were washed, roots cut and macerated in 4% saccharose serial diluted solution.
