Diet, DNA methylation and cancer

Diet, DNA methylation and cancer

Molecular nutrition: 237-265

The aim of this chapter is to focus specifically on how the availability of dietary sources of methyl groups affects DNA methylation. The current knowledge of the properties of the enzymes involved in establishing and maintaining DNA methylation in mammalian cells is outlined.
