Diffusibility and absorbability of CCA, CCB and boron in plywood

Diffusibility and absorbability of CCA, CCB and boron in plywood

Journal of the Timber Development Association of India 48(1/2): 23-27

This study was conducted to solve the problem of treating water resistant laminated meter boards either at its veneer or board stage using simple dipping method. These boards are used as exterior walls of houses for rural electrification (RE) programme in Bangladesh. Three waterborne preservative were used in the study: chromated copper boron (CCB), chromated copper arsenates type C (CCA-C) and boric acid.
