Field experiments were conducted in Tamil Nadu, India, to study the influence of zinc-enriched organic manures on the availability and total uptake of major nutrients (N, P and K) in maize-sunflower cropping system. Maize CO1 and sunflower hybrid MSFH-17 were grown during April-August and September-December in 1996 as direct and residual crops, respectively.
