Dissipation rate of atrazine in soil

Dissipation rate of atrazine in soil

Journal of Research, Punjab Agricultural University 39(3): 337-342

The dissipation rate of atrazine at different levels (0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 kg/ha) applied during different seasons, namely, summer season (May), rainy season (July) and winter season (November) was observed at 0, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 80, 100 and 120 days after spraying in Punjab, India. Atrazine at all application rates tested persisted for 80 days in the summer and winter seasons. In the rainy season, atrazine at lower rates (0.5 and 1.0 kg/ha) persisted up to 60 days.
