Dynamics of biogenic elements in natural stands and forest cultures of peduncled oak (Quercus robur L.)

Dynamics of biogenic elements in natural stands and forest cultures of peduncled oak (Quercus robur L.)

Radovi Sumarski Institut Jastrebarsko 38(1): 65-96

A study was conducted to investigate the dynamics of biogenic elements in natural and artificial pedunculate oak (Quercus robur) stands in Croatia. The concentrations of N, P and K were highest at the beginning of the vegetation period, but showed a gradual decline towards the end of the vegetation period. During the vegetation period, concentrations of calcium in foliage gradually increased.
