Dynamics of mineral concentration on rotation pastures and its effect on sheep blood mineral indicators

The mineral concentrations (Ca, P-inorganic, K, Na and Mg) of plant material samples was studied on two rotation pastures in the slatinska Podravina area of Croatia during 1998. Also, the influence of pasture mineral composition on sheep blood serum mineral concentrations (Ca, P-inorganic, K, Na and Mg) in non-pregnant Wurtemberg sheep was determined on two occasions, 30 June and 30 August. The mineral concentrations of the plant material samples varied during the growing season.
