The phenotypic plasticity, genetic variation and heritability of adaptive, growth and stem quality of 16-year-old Lithuanian Norway spruce (Picea abies) progenies established in different forest eco-regions of Lithuania, were studied in 4 test plantations. The population variance component was relatively low: 0.6% for height, 0.8% for stem diameter, 1.2% for stem volume, 3.6% for phenology form, and 1.1% for branch diameter.
