Ecophysiological changes in paprika due to varying seasons and growth conditions

A field experiment was conducted in Tamil Nadu, India during the summer and winter seasons of 2001 to determine the effects of seasons and growth environment (under net or coconut shade cover and in open field) on the ecophysiology of paprika (Capsicum annuum var. longum) KT-PL-19. Photosynthetic yield, stomatal diffusive resistance and relative humidity were highest under open field conditions and were higher during the winter than the summer season.
