A total of 10 anoestrus crossbred cows were treated with Placentrex (fresh human placental extract) at 15 ml, intravenously, daily for 3 days. Another 30 anoestrus cows were treated with Janova (herbal preparation) at 3 capsules daily for 3 consecutive days; the same dose was applied to non-responding cows after 10 days. Four of 10 anoestrus cows treated with Placentrex exhibited oestrus within 8-13 days of treatment, and 3 of the 4 cows conceived.
