Effect of Raphanus sativus Linn oil on rabbit skin

Effect of Raphanus sativus Linn oil on rabbit skin

Pakistan Journal of Scientific and Industrial Research 46(4): 304-306

ISSN/ISBN: 0030-9885

Laboratory experiments were conducted on 2-2.5 kg rabbits to determine the effect of Raphanus sativus seed oil on rabbit skin. Olive oil (0.1 ml) was used as the control. Some naturally-wounded rabbits were obtained and the wounds were treated with R. sativus oil (0.1 ml), similar to artificially-wounded rabbits. During 30 days of treatment, none of the rabbits showed redness, swelling, cracking or itching of the skin.
