Seven carbon sources (sucrose, fructose, galactose, maltose, mannitol, dextrose and xylose) and 6 nitrogen sources (sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate, tryptone, asparagine, urea and ammonium nitrate) were tested in vitro for their effect on antagonistic activity of biological control agents (Trichoderma harzianum, T. viride and Bacillus subtilis) against Colletotrichum falcatum (Glomerella tucumanensis).
