Effect of certain carbon and nitrogen sources on the antagonistic activities of some biocontrol agents against Colletotrichum falcatum Went

Effect of certain carbon and nitrogen sources on the antagonistic activities of some biocontrol agents against Colletotrichum falcatum Went

Environment and Ecology 19(4): 849-852

ISSN/ISBN: 0970-0420

Seven carbon sources (sucrose, fructose, galactose, maltose, mannitol, dextrose and xylose) and 6 nitrogen sources (sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate, tryptone, asparagine, urea and ammonium nitrate) were tested in vitro for their effect on antagonistic activity of biological control agents (Trichoderma harzianum, T. viride and Bacillus subtilis) against Colletotrichum falcatum (Glomerella tucumanensis).
