Effect of copper sprays on fruit development, yield and quality of 'Allahabad Safeda' guava (Psidium guajava L.)

The effect of copper sprays (0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4%) on the yield and quality of guava Allahabad Safed was investigated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. No significant differences were observed among treatments in terms of fruit development, acidity and ascorbic acid content. However, copper at 0.4% gave significantly higher values for fruit length, diameter and weight than the other treatments.
