Effect of date and depth of soil cultivation on yield of barley sown after a chickpea predecessor crop

Effect of date and depth of soil cultivation on yield of barley sown after a chickpea predecessor crop

Rasteniev"dni Nauki 37(10): 882-884

The quality of pre-sowing soil cultivation determines the quality of the crop. Chickpeas, as a predecessor crop to barley, clear the land early, although, due to various reasons (organizational, meteorological, technological), pre-sowing cultivation can be delayed. That is why it must be done when the soil is physically ready, i.e. when the water contents of the soil is favourable.
