Effect of different fungicides and homeopathic drugs on seedborne fungi of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.)

The efficacy of four fungicides, i.e. Bavistin captan, Celest and Dithane M-45 against seed-borne fungi of sunflower, i.e. Curvularia lunata Rhizoctonia bataticola (Macrophomina phaseolina) and Fusarium sp., was evaluated in laboratory tests. These fungicides were applied at 500, 1000 or 2000 ppm. Celest was the best fungicide at 500 and 1000 ppm in inhibiting C. lunata growth (90.67 and 94.83%, respectively).
