Effect of different hormone treatments on rooting of Olea europaea cv. Galega vulgar cuttings

The efficacy of IBA as liquid suspension (5000 ppm) or powder (0.8%), and NAA as powder (0.2%) in improving the rooting percentage of cuttings of olive Galega Vulgar clones was evaluated. At 75 days after keeping cuttings under mist conditions, the percentage of cuttings with callus, rooted cuttings, and non-rooted cuttings was recorded. The highest level of rooting (45%) was obtained for clone 19 (45.0%) and clone 23 (42.5%) treated with NAA in powder form.
